Tamil Nadu Housing Board (TNHB)

Formed in the year 1947 as a small organization in the name of "City Improvement Trust" in order to cater to the housing needs of Madras City, it developed into a full-fledged organization called Tamil Nadu Housing Board (TNHB) in the year 1961 to cope up with the increasing demand in housing sector all over the state.

During this 3-day training session that was taken up from February 6-8, 2020 at TNHB S.E Office, Nandanam, Chennai, the team of Tamil Nadu Housing Board (TNHB) were acquainted with the basic concepts related to GPMS and how GPMS can bring in a new era of smart governance through digitally monitored attributes.

The session involved hands-on training for the Point of Contact i.e. POC related to the GPMS solution, created by Leadwinner Corp. The Government Project Monitoring System solution helps in the inception, execution and implementation of projects with greater accountability and transparency and is a boon for smart governance.
